Overview

Respondus is a powerful application for creating and managing exams that can be printed to paper or published directly to Blackboard Vista. Exams can be created offline using a familiar Windows environment, or moved from one eLearning system to another. Whether you are a veteran of online testing or relatively new to it, Respondus will save you hours on each project.

Getting Started

  1. Download Respondus 3.5. Note: If you are planning to install Respondus on a machine on campus, please contact your Network Manager. You likely do not have administrative rights to install software, and your network manager will need to assist you. If you are unsure who your network manager is, please consult this list: http://www.unt.edu/helpdesk/netman.htm.
  2. Obtain the license key by logging in to Blackboard Basecamp.** From the Blackboard Basecamp home page, choose the Tutorials, Training and Documentation folder, then choose the Respondus folder (link). From there, follow the instructions for Respondus.

**Note: All faculty should have access to Blackboard Basecamp. If you do not have access, email vistafac@unt.edu and ask for access to the Blackboard Basecamp
