Distributed Learning and Off-Site Approval Procedures
In order to comply with state regulations, the University has adopted procedures for approving distributed learning and off-site courses and program. These procedures are intended to accomplish the following goals:
- Ensure high quality instruction
- Allow programs the flexibility to compete in a highly competitive environment
- Encourage faculty to participate in distributed learning and off-site delivery
- Meet federal and state guidelines
The State considers a course or program delivered by distributed learning or off-site if at least fifty percent of the course is conducted via that delivery method (i.e., digital transmission or off-site).
Additional information and corresponding forms for the individual procedures are available via the links in the left-hand menu.
