The Center for Learning Enhancement, Assessment, and Redesign provides marketing assistance for distance education programs and consultation in the following areas:
• Course Information Database (CID) -- This database populates UNTeCampus, TexasDistanceEducation, SREB´s Electronic Campus, and the Sloan Consortium - providing accurate, up-to-date information to UNT students and creating a venue in which your course is marketed to others.
• UNTeCampus -- Students use this website to research available online courses and programs and review detailed information provided by instructors using the CID (Course Information Database) website. This resource assists students in selecting courses that best meet their learning styles and schedules. Instructors are encouraged to participate in providing information to effectively market their online courses.
• Promotion (ON-CAMPUS) -- Advertise in NT Daily and SGA events / Promotional give-aways to students at Orientations and SGA events / Articles in various URCM publications (print and web-based)
• Promotion (OFF-CAMPUS) -- Advertise in local, regional and national magazines and newspapers/ Promotional give-aways to students/faculty at various local and regional conferences and events / Articles, interviews and advertorials in various local, regional and national publications (print and web-based) / Participation in surveys and other methods to promote and rank distance education program.
• Marketing of Online Courses -- SREB Electronic Campus, Texas Distance Education, Sloan Consortium, Project SAIL. Consult with departments interested in creating marketing materials.
