Accessibility, defined by Quality Matters as the extent to which a product, service, or facility is available to all people, is a premier issue facing institutions of higher education today. At CLEAR, we believe that every student regardless of ability should be able to access all aspects of their learning environment. Join us for our Lunch & Learn Series, giving you some answers to many of the “why” questions regarding accessibility. Each Lunch & Learn is followed by a Q&A Hour, where CLEAR Quality Review and Compliance staff will be available to address the “how-to” questions that put concepts from Lunch & Learn into practice in your course. We are excited to work together to incorporate universal design in your course and across UNT. Each Lunch & Learn + Q&A Hour will be hosted in the Support and Services Building, located at 1500 N Interstate 35, Denton, TX 76205. Bring your own lunch and CLEAR will provide complimentary water, coffee, and tea.
While syllabus/accessibility Q&A Hour is happening, we will also be hosting iClicker training – all in the same convenient location.
If you have any questions about the event feel free to email Dr. Tania Heap at tania.heap@unt.edu or call (940) 369-6427.
