CLEAR supports a variety of instructional technologies. Let us help you find technology solutions that work best for you and your students.
Learning Management Systems

Canvas
Canvas, the learning management system (LMS) in use at UNT, may be used for course activities and communication in online, blended or traditional face-to-face courses.
Academic Integrity

Respondus LockDown Browser
With Respondus' specialized browser, the testing environment within Canvas is locked down so students are unable to print, copy, go to another URL, or access other applications.

Respondus Monitor
Respondus Monitor is a companion application for LockDown Browser that uses webcam and video technology to prevent cheating during online exams. Respondus Monitor integrates seamlessly with learning management systems and is ideal for non-proctored testing environments.

Turnitin
Turnitin helps students learn to cite their work properly and aids faculty in detecting possible incidents of plagiarism on written assignments.
Assessment Tools

Respondus
Respondus enables you to create and manage exams to be printed to paper or published directly to Canvas for online delivery.
Communication and Collaboration Tools

Canvas Studio
Canvas Studio is a powerful, easy-to-use media tool that integrates directly with Canvas that will allow you and your students to create, upload, edit, and manage audio and video (AV) files. It also allows you to embed in-video assessment questions and provides useful usage analytics.

Microsoft Teams

Packback
UNT has begun a partnership with Packback which means that UNT students no longer have to pay to use it. Please remove any verbiage in your syllabus that referred students to the bookstore or included any payment information regarding Packback. You can now also add a Packback navigation link to your Canvas menu! For instructions on how to do so, visit Setting Up your Learning Management System with Packback.
If you have any questions about Packback, you may contact Kathryn Stegeman, your Experience Manager Packback at kathryn.stegeman@packback.co
