In this session, faculty will identify common accessibility issues and errors regarding course documents with a hands-on activity. The accessibility experts in DSI CLEAR will provide a summary of accessible features that instructors can implement across several digital formats, such as Canvas content, Word, PowerPoints, PDFs, and Excel files.

In this hands-on session, faculty will develop, create, and host accessible multimedia content for their courses using Canvas Studio. Whether you are a video novice or veteran, you will leave knowing how use existing browser-based video tools to create videos ready for student engagement.

Greet and Teach: How to Improve Your Online Teaching Practices

UNT graduate students and interested faculty, join DSI CLEAR for a FREE lunch while learning about online teaching from UNT faculty! A faculty panel will share tips for designing online curricula, working with students one-on-one and in groups, and developing learning objectives and assessments. The event will be a 45-minute moderated discussion followed by Q&A and information on DSI CLEAR's GSTEP course. This event will be in-person, streamed virtually, and recorded. Please attend as you are able. Free lunch will be provided for in-person attendees. Zoom link will be sent to registrants before the event.
