Copyright best practices can be confusing – Join DSI CLEAR for a review of some of the trickier copyright concerns that you may face in your course preparation, and the best ways to handle them while preserving all the rich content you want to share with your students. Discussion points will include tips on the best use of videos, electronic documents, charts, graphs, and images in your courses and some examples of nuances that can cause confusion. We will also review legal exceptions that may help when accessibility and copyright concerns “bump into each other”. Finally, we will briefly touch on contractual and privacy issues that may pop up from time to time in Copyright reviews. Does not count toward ABCA.
